How close is the date you confirmed?
Enter an official expiry date. Get a simple reminder and the right official links—not a status decision.
Calendar days remaining
- Verify the date again through an official source.
- Check the exact procedure and documents for your own status.
- Keep receipts or notices for any application already submitted.
These 7/30/60-day reminders are planning prompts, not legal application deadlines. Your procedure may have a different timetable.
What this helper includes
Enter an expiry date you have confirmed through Korean immigration and a reference date. The helper shows the calendar days remaining and a planning reminder, then links to the official expiry check, extension guidance, and multilingual 1345 contact center. It does not decide your status, eligibility, documents, or legal application deadline.
How this helper works
- Calendar days remaining are the date difference between the entered expiry date and reference date. The result is zero when the two dates are the same and becomes a days-past count after that date.
- The helper groups positive results into more than 60 days, 31 to 60 days, 8 to 30 days, and 1 to 7 days to make the reminder easy to scan.
- Those reminder bands are editorial planning prompts only. They are not encoded immigration filing deadlines and do not change an official expiry date.
- Every result routes the user back to HiKorea or 1345 because procedures, documents, appointments, online availability, and eligibility depend on the user's exact status and request.
Assumptions
- The expiry date has been copied from a current official record or official online result, not calculated from a nationality or general visa-free duration.
- The user will identify the correct procedure for extension, status change, departure, or another request through an official channel.
- A pending or submitted application is not treated as approved and does not automatically replace the entered date in this helper.
- The result is a private reminder and is not evidence of lawful stay, overstay, or eligibility for an immigration service.
Example
If an officially confirmed expiry date is October 10, 2026 and the reference date is August 11, 2026, the helper shows 60 calendar days remaining and prompts the user to confirm the correct procedure and begin preparing through official channels.
Limits and cautions
- The helper cannot tell whether the entered date is a visa validity date, permitted-until date, residence-card date, departure deadline, or another type of deadline.
- It does not provide a universal renewal window, grace period, document list, fee, processing time, appointment rule, or outcome promise.
- It cannot determine whether an application already filed allows continued stay or changes travel and re-entry conditions.
- A date shown as passed is not a legal finding that the user has overstayed. Official records and individual circumstances must be checked promptly.
- Use the official guidance current on the day of action, especially when the entered date is close or has passed.
