How corrections work

Reports are checked against the page's calculation rules and cited primary or official sources. A material correction updates the page, its verification date when appropriate, and the underlying content record.

Minor spelling and formatting changes may be made without a correction note. Changes that alter a result, legal meaning, eligibility explanation, or official route should be disclosed on the affected page.

Send the exact page URL, the text or behavior at issue, and an official source if available. Do not send identity documents or sensitive facts about a personal case.
